As an upcoming DJ/producer, JuJu is best known from his eclectic sound and mixing skills no matter the genre, event, venue, room or crowd. Highly influenced by his Mexican-American roots mixed along with all the retro hits of Classic Rock & Soul in his upbringing - JuJu has found a way to make old songs seem timeless with the way he plays them on top of his study, strategy, and integration of new music,
Vastly JuJu has gotten to use his knowledge of music playing some of his favorite classics (favorites include classic rock and disco), sing-alongs from what’s trending on Top for curated events, to even playing all Latin (most known for reggaeton, Latin-house, and cumbia) sets at his year-long Latin party in Kansas City from 2022-2023.
JuJu’s always been bound to be an artist, first playing piano, then picking up the guitar. Although this talent was recognized, the ability to be an entertainer/host was always noticed too. Starting with family games shows at the dinner table has now turned into hosting/emceeing one of the biggest nights for many couples out there, coordinating live events with performers/artists, or keeping the dancefloor bumping without hesitation. Behind a supportive family & friends who were also musicians/artists/DJs - his journey began and will continue developing his skill along with leading a positive path for DJ culture.
JuJu is currently located in Chicago, Illinois, and can be found in the Midwest playing at bars/clubs, corporate events, private parties, or weddings.
